Joel S. Binn

Joel Binn is a specialist in the IT Strategy, technology design, implementation and transformation. He also possesses a strong background in building of technology organizations with experience in both domestic and international development and operations. He built and managed a consulting firm whose clients were primarily Wall Street banks and brokerage companies including Merrill Lynch, Citibank, J.P. Morgan / Chase, National Westminster Bank, Bank of America, Pfizer, AT&T and Government agencies including the Departments of the Army, Navy, Merchant Marines and School Construction Authority.

Joel spent two years in the UK creating and heading up the Operations and Technology units for Orbian, a joint venture between Citibank and SAP. He recently completed the formation of a startup known as Blue Flame Data, acting as their CTO and EVP of Technology and Operations.

Currently Joel works on management consulting for technology organizations, technology architecture design and reviews. Joel also performs research and due diligence for M&As.


Charles Weg is Whitehall's Practice Leader for Enterprise Mobility and The Internet of Things (IoT) teams. He is a nationally known mobility expert who has directed notable mobility projects that have transformed day to day life, such as smart vending machines, smart parking meters, public Wi-Fi, and consumer applications. He has publicly spoken, written and blogged about Mobility best practices and authored many case studies.

Prior to joining Whitehall Worldwide, Charles worked as a strategic Mobility Applications Consultant for AT&T's Innovative Industry & Mobility Application Solutions (IMAS) team, responsible for mobile application and M2M solutions for the AT&T business customer segment. He led teams that worked with Line-of-Business, IT and vertical industry executives to define, design and deploy solutions that helped corporations and government agencies wirelessly enable their end user and customer applications. Of special note is his four years as Mobility Practice Leader for AT&T's $30M engagement with Amtrak. Charles’ greatest strengths are his engaging demeanor, creativity, vision and leadership. He thrives on challenges, particularly those that enable his clients to collect, integrate and use end point information to yield increased revenue and savings. His most recent projects include a strategic engagement with General Motors to track inter-plant inventory components, resulting in annual savings of $10 million, and a pharmaceutical start-up designing an IoT driven secured dispenser for a controlled substance.

In 2010 and 2012 Charles hosted roundtables for Mobile Monday, Philadelphia Chapter - a worldwide organization on mobile direction and products. He was recognized by AT&T as a Diamond Club recipient - reserved for the very top 1% producers among over 250,000 employees.

Charles has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Queens College of the City University of New York and is working towards Graduate Management Certification from Rutgers University. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and children.


Robin E. Lauezzari

A seasoned professional with over 25 years of senior management experience in the Securities Industry, he has a proven track record for driving change and managing large and complex initiatives for major financial organizations, both as an employee and a consultant.

His background includes important positions with leading investment banks and market infrastructure organizations as well as formal management consulting experience with a leading global professional services company. He is equally comfortable operating in business and IT roles.

One of Robin’s strengths is the combination of his deep business knowledge and his strategic thinking abilities. He can solve difficult problems quickly. He is versatile and can operate at both strategic and tactical levels. Throughout his career he has consistently demonstrated his ability to transform his strategic vision into practical reality by delivering effective solutions quickly and efficiently.

While he is frequently engaged in operational transformation and program management and delivery initiatives, he has also managed many crisis situations to successful closure and rescued floundering projects.


After 5 years as a member of the management team and Chief Technology Officer of Fxall, Jack retired at the end of 2005. As CTO he was responsible for product development, technology architecture, engineering, production services and product management. He was also responsible for identifying technology trends impacting FXall’s business and product strategy. At FXall, he developed and ran systems for FX trading, FX confirmation and settlement, FX Prime Brokerage and FX Market Data and Research. Jack built FXall's global product development, solutions delivery and customer engineering teams in New York, London, Singapore and Tokyo.

Jack was founder of the FIX Global FX Committee and is now chairman of the FX Committee’s Education and Marketing Subcommittee. He has spoken and written widely on Foreign Exchange technology, STP and workflow automation.

He served as CIO and Director of Information Technology at CMP Publications, Inc., where in 1994 he was instrumental in launching CMP's first web-based magazine. Jack was the founder and president of the Datalytiqs Group, an early developer of multi-dimensional data analysis software. He has also held various information services roles for the Swiss Reinsurance Group and the City of New York.


Jack holds a Master’s degree from the Columbia University School of Business as well as a Master’s degree from the University of Washington where he worked on Bio-computing and visual processing. Jack received his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Columbia University.

Enjoyed a very diverse career. Managed and consulted in support of the securities operations of several of the world’s largest Capital Market Institutions, leveraging extensive management experience acquired through fourteen years of service with Salomon Brothers Inc (Citigroup) as an established industry leader in Fixed Income and Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) operations.

Focused on providing leadership and expertise in developing PwC’s Hedge Fund Advisory Practice that currently serves over 50% of the top 100 global Hedge Funds. Also served in a leadership position as a member of PwC’s advance team that provided the initial risk consultation to the U.S. Treasury in its implementation of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP).


Prior to joining PwC served as a member of the leadership team for Securities and Investment Consulting at TowerGroup, a wholly owned subsidiary of MasterCard International. During this timeframe was instrumental in proposal and delivery of a number of key projects. Provided leadership in business development and client relationship management resulting in more than $5.0M in pipeline revenue opportunities.

Prior to joining TowerGroup focused energies as a private real estate investor and capital markets operations consultant, completing several real estate revitalization projects and providing pre-engagement consultative services to BearingPoint, a previous employer.


At BearingPoint was responsible for the sales and promotion of a newly developed global trade matching utility (GSTP, AG) sponsored and owned by many of the major capital markets industry participants. This organization was developed and managed by the BearingPoint Managed Services team on an interim/startup basis. Ultimately management was successfully transferred to an industry sponsored permanent management team consistent with the BearingPoint plan.

An additional assignment at BearingPoint included utilizing extensive fixed income relationships by representing the firm as a member of the important Bond Market Association (TBMA) Straight Through Processing (STP)/T+1 Executive Steering Committee. In this role, was instrumental in developing new business while contributing to the development of the Association’s STP model and the Fixed Income Industry Guiding Principles.


Prior to joining BearingPoint served as Senior Operating Executive at Countrywide Capital Markets Inc. responsible for improving the firm’s overall operations capability, providing the capacity to grow. Under my direction the firm was able to increase its capacity within twelve months from $15B gross per month to over $50B per month. This significant improvement allowed operations to affect turnaround from $3M in negative revenues the prior year and began to positively contribute to corporate revenues with a contribution of $500k. Building on that, Countrywide was recognized as a primary dealer and was considered an industry leader in the MBS Capital Markets.

Prior to joining Countrywide, served as CAO for an executive management team responsible for improving the efficiency of operations across all global capital markets business for J. P. Morgan Securities Inc. Reported directly to the President with responsibilities including strategic planning and monitoring and reporting of business sponsored projects and initiatives. Prior to J.P.Morgan Securities, served in a senior leadership role at First Albany Corporation and was instrumental in the evolution of that firms middle office function.
